Systems offers extensive and complete training in a variety of settings. Our State-of-the-Art training facility in Columbia and our professional trainers provide a perfect setting to learn all of the applications. To effectively take advantage of the MBS Total Store System, it is paramount that store personnel are trained. MBS Systems Training Staff of training professionals is offering training in various formats. These formats consist of:
- Classic Classroom Training - Each month our standard classes are taught in our state-of-the-art training facilities located in the MBS Textbook Exchange headquarters in Columbia, Missouri. The training facilities are designed for hands-on training by each student on the application they are mastering.
- User Group Meetings - These meetings are Training Seminars held regionally throughout the year for easy access by the actual users of the applications. They consist of short educational sessions on timely and important issues to the end users.
- Customized Training - This type of training is modeled to fit the specific needs of the customer and is usually completed at the customer's location. This type of training may include some of our standard classroom training as well as the Application Audits.
- eTraining - A brand new format for the Training Department is the presentation of training via the Internet. This training is available in two formats: Online Meeting Room which allows us to deliver scheduled live topical training to you via the web. Self-Paced Training allows you to access pre-recorded videos of processes and procedures of various MBS applications via the web.
